The six screens
Six views, six function keys. They never move.
The choice of keys is not decorative: in a booth you switch views without taking your eyes off the room. A key that moved from one version to the next would be worse than a missing key.
| Key | View | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
| F1 | Timecode | The four timecode slots, their source, frame rate, transport and state. |
| F2 | Cues | The show: tracks, markers, their pre-roll, and what has been crossed. |
| F3 | Stacked | The four decks one under another, waveforms running. |
| F4 | Focus | One deck, large — by default the one feeding the timecode. |
| F5 | Grid | The four decks as tiles, the overview. |
| F6 | History | The play log for the night in progress. |
