Troubleshooting
The failures we have met, in the order you meet them.
| What you see | What it usually is |
|---|---|
| No deck appears | The Windows firewall on the Public profile. Also check the machine and the decks are on the same physical network. |
| The timecode is frozen and says why | Not a fault: the source deck is no longer advancing. The machine never switches on its own — pick "the master" as the source to make it follow the DJ. |
| The receiver drops out when the DJ pitches | MTC under varispeed. Switch to LTC. |
| LTC decodes intermittently | An output level that is too low. The symptom looks like a clock problem; it is a gain problem. |
| The console does not react to the tempo | The OSC prefix if the send leaves, the address if it fails. The assistant says which, based on what the ramp did. |
| The grandMA3 does not appear in the list | Port 10670 inbound on the WinShow machine. Detection is passive: if the beacon does not get in, nothing shows. |
| Traktor no longer pushes anything | A Traktor update erased the probe. Run the patcher again; the booth address is kept. |
| The tempo does not resume after switching a receiver back on | Normal: sending happens on change only. It will resume at the next pitch movement. |
