What a marker fires
A marker that is crossed can send to an OSC or MIDI destination. Without that capability it stays a visual cue and an on-screen counter — which is already useful to an operator firing by hand.
| Transport | What leaves | How the target is named |
|---|---|---|
| OSC | An address and its arguments | By the destination’s name |
| MIDI | Note on/off, program change | By the port’s name, never its number |
Deleting a destination that markers aim at is allowed and flagged, never blocked. Refusing would force you to tidy up in an imposed order; an action that silently fails to leave would be worse.
Marker sending is granted by the Show plan.
