Track recognition
The machine works out which show track is loaded on which deck, by itself.
Recognition correlates the show track’s fingerprint against the rekordbox analysis waveform the deck announces. It trusts neither the title nor the file name: a renamed track, or one loaded from another stick, is recognised anyway.
As soon as a track is recognised on a deck, its markers become live: they announce themselves at their pre-roll, then land, and the machine shows the last ones crossed.
Recognition lives inside the show editor: with no show, there is nothing to recognise. The two are granted together, from the Booth plan upwards.
