Traktor Pro 3 and 4
Traktor opens no network port: a probe on the DJ’s machine pushes the numbers to the booth.
Native Instruments offers no API for Traktor, and its MIDI outputs carry no position — no elapsed time, no remaining time. A network cable pointed at a Traktor machine would therefore see nothing: there is nothing to see.
The route that works goes through the Kontrol controller screens, which Traktor drives with plain, editable files. The data we are missing is already there — it is simply drawn instead of being emitted. The probe emits it.
